Calgary start-ups show energy is not the only game in town
Calgary is known for being an oil and gas "town," and a "cow town" (because of the annual Calgary Stampede). As oil prices plummeted over the last couple of years, entrepreneurs sought to diversify our economy, and some of them, like DJ Bikes, very successfully. Now that non-renewable energy prices have soared again, the challenge of the Calgarian/Albertan economy is to continue to push for diversification. Somewhat ironically, DJ Bikes solves both problems: diversification of the local economy, and a way to combat sky high fuel prices at the pumps. It has never been a better time to buy an e-bike!
Read the whole story here (pay special attention to the end of the story), and scoot your way over to DJ Bikes' brick 'n mortar store at 737 10 Ave SW, Calgary to meet up with one of DJ Bikes friendly staff to discuss options. You may very well be meeting with the D or J of DJ Bikes!
DJ Bikes gets you moving, and keeps you riding, no matter your physical health, energy or stamina. Join the ebike trend!
